I like AFL because it’s fun. When you kick the ball through the middle you get 6 points for your team.

If you kick the between the left or the right goals it’s 1 point.

In AFL you can’t throw the ball.

You have to handball it.

When you kick the ball on the outside posts it’s a free kick to the other team.

When you kick the ball on the inside posts it’s 1 point, But the other team gets a free kick.

It’s good for your body but you might get hurt & go off the field.

Some kids play AFL too, but it’s called Auskick.

On Sunday I went to Alex's. We made cookies. We made a Water Paradise. We gardened, we painted, we played with her fish. I fed them.
We played Kings and Queens. We played on the trampoline. We told each other disgusting stories about us.
I stayed to 6 o'clock in the night. We had so much fun.

On Saturday I wen to my nanny's house. I had a bacon sandwich. We went to the club for dinner. We won 27 chocolates. I picked up a Cherry Ripe. On Sunday I was eating toast and my tooth came out. The tooth fairy ran late. I got $2.70.

In the holidays I went to my grandparents' place and my pop had an old bird. It was 10 and a half years old. On Tuesday we went to do the birds. When we went to do the birds in the third room I saw pop's ten year old bird was dead.

On saturday I went to Auntie Shelley and the RD was called Garramundji and we helped Auntie Shelley clean up the farm. We had to go down to the bush to go to the toilet.

Class Visit by Bank Officers

Angela and Mardi from the Commonwealth Bank at Winston Hills visited our classroom to talk to us about money. Jack asked if they could give us all a hundred dollars each but they said, "Sorry, no." They told us about ATMs, internet banking, notes and coins and bank security.

Recorder Performance on Open Day

2M played three short tunes on their recorders during the Open Day assembly on May 17th. Everybody clapped.
